Welcome and thanks for visiting my Doyle for Congress campaign website. I hope that you will find this site to be a useful tool in helping you to gain a better understanding of my campaign for re-election to Congress. I've tried to include some information about my positions on important issues as well as some background about myself.
This year is of course an election year and what an important election it will be! With President Obama running for re-election, and the Democrats attempting to retake the majority in Congress; clearly the results of this year’s election will define how our country moves forward for years to come.
As I begin my campaign for reelection, it is also an exciting time in PA’s 14th Congressional District as the redistricting process that takes place every ten years has been completed and as lots of new communities have been added to the district, I look forward to working in those new communities, and campaigning in them also. There are lots of new people to meet! Please check out the page about the new district in another part of this site for more information about how the district has changed.
Now that the petition filing period is over, I am looking forward to the primary election campaign. I have already been active throughout the district as the primary date of April 24th is fast approaching. I am honored to have received the endorsement of the Allegheny County Democratic Committee and the Allegheny County Labor Council in addition to any number of other organizations. I hope I will see you along the campaign trail soon!
Please notice that I have also included on this site other easy ways for you to get more involved in the campaign. Please let me know if you would be interested in volunteering some time on the campaign or displaying a lawn sign at your home or business. There are a number of ways that people throughout the district will be pitching in to help. And of course, I’ve also tried to make it easy for you to contribute to my efforts. A contribution of any size is always very helpful and greatly appreciated!
As you know, this is a very important election year and it is vital that you be sure to first get out to vote in the primary on April 24th and then later this year in the November election. When you do, I would be honored to receive your vote and support.
Serving in Congress is a tremendous privilege. As someone who was born and raised in Pittsburgh, I love having the opportunity to serve the people of our region and always do my best to represent you well. My love for the Pittsburgh region is as strong as I’m sure yours is, so I look forward to continuing to work together to make all of our towns, cities, and boroughs the very best they can be.
Thanks again for visiting the site and for your consideration and support. Together, we can make this election year a historic time in America. I hope to see you around Pittsburgh soon!
Sincerely,
